The Wheelchair Stair Climber from AmeriGlide allows you to safely move a person in a standard manual wheelchair up or down stairs with more ease. Now you can provide easier access to your commercial or public building where you do not currently have installed or cannot install a permanent lift. The Stair Climber provides multiple trips up and down stairs on just one charge by using a long-lasting battery. In the event that it is drained, a safe descent is ensured by the manual emergency device. Keyed controls enable the restriction of the Stair Climber's use to trained and authorized operators, and the unit can be split into two pieces to make transport between locations easier.
