The AmeriGlide Hercules II 600 Residential vertical platform lift is an affordable alternative to more expensive, space-consuming accessibility improvements. Ramps are costly to install and take up a lot of footage, which may not be an option depending on the size of your home's lot or the proximity of government-mandated setback lines; what's more, some manual wheelchair users will still have difficulties independently negotiating a ramp. The Hercules II 600 Residential, by contrast, takes up only a 36" x 54" area and provides immediate automated access to entryways above ground level.
The Hercules II 600 Residential is designed for all-weather use. Its sturdy construction and advanced weatherproof design prevent all internal components and controls from the ravages of wind, rain, and cold. It can support up to 600 pounds of weight and is equipped with a solid platform. User-controlled limiters allow you to set the maximum and minimum lift heights to whatever levels you require. The AmeriGlide Hercules II 600 Residential is an ETL-listed product and is compliant with both ASME A18.1 and CSA B44.1 / ASME 17.5 safety codes.
