Powered Swivel

For added ease of use a powered swivel is an excellent option. This optional feature adds a new level of comfort and safety. With the push of a button the chair pivots in either direction assisting you to get on or off the lift.

Powered Footrest

For individuals who have difficulty bending down the powered footrest is a great optional feature to look into. Again, with the simple push of a button the footrest will fold up making the stair lift more compact and out of the way.

Additional Charge Point

In some unique staircases users may choose to park the lift somewhere other than the top or bottom landing. This is where the additional charge point comes in handy. If you have a multi-level home or a unique stair case and think you will parking your lift in an unusual area of the staircase then an additional charge point will ensure your lift never runs out of power.

Extra Parking Call/Send

Every lift comes standard with a radio call/send remote for your top landing and your bottom landing. They use a radio frequency so that your lift can pick up the remote signal through walls and other obstacles. If you have an additional landing than getting an extra remote may be a good idea.

Offset Footplate

The offset footplate is designed to make your lift avoid obstacles or bulkheads. This optional feature can benefit the user by making the lift more maneuverable in difficult areas or narrows turns and can reduce the track height. This option can make the track less obtrusive in unusual staircases that require tight turns.

Heavy Duty Upgrade

The HD upgrade has a long list of features and benefits. First, it uses a Heavy Duty drive motor and hardened acetyl rollers successfully increasing the maximum weight capacity to 350 lbs. Furthermore, additional legs and support bars are placed on the rail to increase the strength and stability of the track. It has a stronger swivel boss and a sturdy seat designed to withhold more weight yet still provide you with a comfortable ride.

Intermediate Landing

These are used for individuals who may need to use the lift to travel to multiple levels. Adding an intermediate landing means you have a bottom landing, a top landing, and a middle landing.

Top/Bottom Over-Run

This gives you more space to get off your lift at the landings of your stairs. For people with a narrow staircase the lift carriage may seem intrusive and they may wish to park the lift a little bit farther up the staircase. This excess room to park your lift creates more space for people to walk up and down the staircase. This added convenience is perfect for people who have the extra room at either the top or bottom landing.

Nose Drop

Adding a nose drop to the bottom landing of your stair lift gives your lift the ability to end abruptly at the bottom of the stairs. It let?s the carriage sit as close as possible to the bottom stair and prevents excess track from becoming an obstacle. This option is perfect for those with doors or passageways in close proximity of the bottom landing.
